Young graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle, NSW in 2010 which she undertook as an adjunct to her degree in Physical Therapy in South Korea, 2005. She moved to Melbourne after she finished her university from Newcastle for new life adventure, she has been working as a private practice physiotherapist in western and northern suburbs of Melbourne over her all professional years. She was given the opportunity to experience during the time and enjoys a wide range of aspects of physiotherapy, and her well-developed knowledge and understanding of diagnostic skills and treatment interventions was rewarded with excellent results.

Young has experience in treating variety of conditions including spinal health employing McKenzie directional preference methods, clinical pilates, sports injury, pre/post-operative management and enjoys biomechanical analysis of posture and movement to develop exercise programme for rehabilitation, sport performance and general fitness utilising Pilates equipment’s.

Throughout her career, Young completed a number of postgraduate courses including McKenzie Cervical and Lumbar Spine Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, Mulligan Concept, APA Sports Physiotherapy, all series of APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Matwork & Equipment instructor programs, DMA pilates, Dry needling, Kinesio taping and Advanced sports taping courses. She also registered APA course of Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy coming March 2019.

On a personal note, Young has always enjoyed sports in young age, grew up with swimming, ice-skating, skiing and snowboarding. Her busy lifestyle at times makes it difficult for her to be as involved in sports as she once was, however, she is keen on keeping fit and healthy by visiting the gym regularly and learning tennis. She also loves going her two lovely poodles for regular walk and take them to long walking trails at You Yang regional park or out of town.
